You've booked your boudoir session and now you're wondering- what do I wear?! Don't worry we are here to guide you through this entire process. Wardrobe for your boudoir session doesn't have to be complicated!

Sexy doesn't always mean less clothing. Boudoir is more than just lingerie. It’s important that you feel comfortable and confident and let your personality shine through in your session. Choosing outfits in addition to lingerie can give you a chance to show off who you are.

Bring a sweater, dress, jacket, or bodysuit. These are all things you probably already have in your closet.

Robes are great for boudoir sessions! You can do so many different looks with a robe and if you don't already own one Amazon has some great ones for under $30!

Lingerie- There are many different types of lingerie! Bra and panty sets are great, and bodysuits/ teddys are great on any body type.

If you're on a budget check Amazon, Shein.com , or fashion nova. You can find moderately priced items on Victoria's Secret, fredericks.com , Torrid, and Adoreme.com. If budget is no issue Honey Birdette has amazing pieces https://us.honeybirdette.com/

**When purchasing from Shein, Yandy, or Amazon we recommend buying 1-2 sizes larger than you normally wear.

For plus sized babes- Shein and Yandy have some great options, or hipsandcurves.com

Blankets and Sheets- We love this look! Between the sheets is always a sexy boudoir look, or wrap yourself up in a fur blanket.

Don't forget shoes and accessories! (heels, necklaces, thigh highs, fishnet stockings)

Small details can add a little extra personal touch to your shoot. Choose a bold statement necklace or sparkly diamond earrings. Even some high heels or small pieces of jewelry can help make your images pop.

And if you’re looking to add a little sexiness, garter belts and stockings are a sultry touch. Garter belts sit at your waistline and have adjustable straps that hang down to your legs to attach to stockings. But even without stockings, this look is stunning.

Avoid bright colors

A bright colored bra and panty set may seem fun, but fluorescent or overly bright colors often don’t show up well in photos. Stick with darker, more sultry colors, like deep blues and purples, and always consider the classic black. And make sure to keep your nail color subtle—bright nails will become the focus of the photos and take attention away from your stellar body.

Whatever you choose to wear for your session, make sure it reflects your personality and shows off what makes you you.

We also have many options in our studio wardrobe in various sizes! Clients are always welcome to borrow from our closet. Check out our pinterest boards for more ideas
